They receive supports that were never made for them. Too young. Too adult. And somehow, they’re still supposed to care.
And let's be real: One day they're acting like a 30 year old, and the next day, a 5 year old who has had their favorite toy taken away...
It's confusing. But it's also developmentally normal, and our job is to meet them where they're at.
